Pretty telly actress Divyanka Tripathi of ‘Yeh Hain Mohabbatein’ fame is all set to marry beau Vivek Dahiya on 8th July, 2016.

The wedding functions of the couple were started on 6th July with a fun Haldi ceremony. The ebullient actress glowed in a yellow Lehenga Choli on her per-wedding Haldi function.

One of the most popular telly ladies, Divayanka looks stunning in Indian ensembles. Even on her show she has been consistently seen in amazing sarees. Her character as a new bride was shown in South Silk Sarees, while now, as ‘Ishita’ has grown up, she wears designer sarees and Indo-western ensembles.

This haldi function sure looks like a colorful affair. In this shot, Divyanka looks a vision, stunning amidst the backdrop of vibrant, colourful pillows, multi-colored umbrella and hand painted pots, carefully scattered around. Truly a spectacular theme!

We really love the way Divyanka managed to keep her mustard yellow lehenga look so bright yet elegant. Her puffed sleeved brocade blouse takes the cake – in this graceful ensemble. It also adds a girly charm to beautiful lady’s look. Divyanka’s vibrant lehenga and dupatta are in net, and have been embellished with pearl and gold accents. The soon-to-be-bride kept her neck-piece traditional but understated, while her earrings are her favorite jhumkas (which we have often seen on her in her famous tele-soap).

Incidentally, all of Diyvanka’s clan – her friends and female family members were also seen in glowing mustard yellow sarees and lehenga cholis.

It seems that Divyanka’s pre-wedding mehendi function was also her  bachelorette, as she is seen having fun with her girl clan. Way to go girl!

Today i.e. on 7th July, Divyanka glowed in a pink floor length Anarkali suit on her Mehendi function. The interesting Mehendi that has the faces of the groom and bride drawn on actress’ palms is unmissably splendid. Wow is the word! Kudos to the Mehendi artist too…

The dream couple, who were earlier in news, for their stunning pre-wedding photo shoot will marry in Bhopal, telly’s leading lady’s home town.  This is one of the most awaited celebrity weddings of this year, as both the bride and groom have a great fan following. And, Divyanka is well known even among her circles for her sweet nature.

The Haldi event sure looked like a lot of fun, and now we can’t wait to see the ravishing bride in her bridal outfit, which she has managed to keep a secret till now. Well, one more day to go! Lots of luck Divyanka and Vivek…

10 times Indian Lehenga really slayed…and made us re-consider our outfit choices!!

Modern girls believe in saying no to Indian ethnic wear, labeling it as too traditional. But, a look at these fashion savvy girls, and you will be re-thinking and re-considering Indian fashion. Like, seriously! They are so spot in their lehenga choli game that it will be like – move over crop top and long skirt combos, you don’t stand a chance in front of our amazingly awesome lehenga cholis.

Yes, lehenga – the dressy Indian version of long skirt – really really took our heart, and gave us serious dressing goals -

When the ‘queen’ Kangana Ranaut re-defined Indian sensuality with this teeny choli and gold-bordered Boho chic lehenga, paired with a coy net cut-work dupatta….

When Aditi Rao Hydari teamed her parrots-embroidered black lehenga with a long black top…

When Mouni Roy’s coy black lehenga choli was good enough to give serious competition to any crop top-long skirt combo…

When designer Anju Modi designed this stunning creation – meant to slay crop top trend... What could be better than our own demure blouse!

When Neha Dhupia really paired her dressy gold and white lehenga with a west-inspired gold jacket and a simple white shirt...

When Soha Ali Khan Pataudi re-defined Lehenga chic by pairing this crinkled one with a long kurta – on her own pre-wedding Mehendi function….

When style diva Sonam Kapoor looked so ethereal in a cotton, indigo-printed lehenga and blouse by designer Anita Dongre that we too were left immersed in deep thoughts – like Sonam….

Okay, when we stopped breathing!!

Okay, this post is becoming an ode to Sonam Kapoor’s chic style, but can we help it? Nopes. This is when we decided to give her the crown of Lehenga chic…

And, last but not the least – when PeeCee looked so gorgeous that she took the cake for the prettiest one!
